Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Description:
A project coordinator will work along side a dedicated project manager on a specific property or hotel. The coordinator will spend their time speaking with vendors, designers, logistics managers, and hotel clients. In addition, they will complete the necessary tasks required to complete the project (outlined below).
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for obtaining FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment), warehousing and installation bids for items as specified by the approved project budget
- Responsible for negotiating price, lead-time and payment terms with vendors
- Responsible for maintaining client budget expectations
- Work closely with Project Managers with regards to available funds on the budget and department policies and procedures
- Issue purchase orders to vendors
- Initiate change orders to purchase orders as required
- Coordinate buyout and deliveries with Project Manager based on renovation/construction schedule
- Resolve vendor disputes
- Responsible for purchase order and project budget closeout
- Responsible for processing deposit and proforma invoices
- Responsible for managing shop drawing and finish approvals
